Guy has been an underwriter with Yachtmaster for nearly 20 years and was appointed a Director in 2005. He is an RYA Commercially endorsed Yachtmaster (Offshore) with time spent as an RYA instructor / yacht charter skipper aboard his Westerly Typhoon, and also skipper of a commercial fishing vessel, although catch records leave this in doubt!

Guy is also an active Yacht and Powerboat Surveyor and was awarded the YDSA Leslie Oliver Award at the Yacht Designers & Surveyors Association AGM, 2011. Guy’s high level of practical and technical experience dovetail perfectly with the business as a Marine Insurance Underwriter allowing him to completely understand both our clients insurance requirements and technical queries alike. .
